Manual Transaxle Oil
Level Check
1. |
Stop the engine and then raise the vehicle using the lift.
|
2. |
Remove the oil filler plug (A).
|
3. |
Check the condition of the oil and make sure that it is at the proper
level (A).
|
4. |
Install the oil filler plug (A).
Tightening torque :
58.9 - 78.5 N·m (6.0 - 8.0 kgf·m, 43.4 - 57.8 lb·ft)

The existing oil filler plug gasket must be replaced with new
one. (Do not reuse it.)

Stop the engine and then raise the vehicle using the lift.

2. |
Remove the drain plug (A), allow the oil to drain out and then reinstall
the drain plug.
Tightening torque :
58.9 - 78.5 N·m (6.0 - 8.0 kgf·m, 43.4 - 57.8 lb·ft)

The existing oil drain plug gasket must be replaced with a new
one. (Do not reuse it.)

Remove the oil filler plug (A).
|
4. |
Fill the manual transaxle with manual transaxle oil through the filler
hole.
Recommended :
- SAE 70W, API GL-4
• Recommended transaxle oil : SK HK MTF 70W, SHELL SPIRAX S6
GHME 70W, GS CALTEX GS MTF HD 70W
Capacity :
1.6 - 1.7 L (0.42 - 0.45 U.S.gal., 1.69 - 1.80 U.S.qt., 1.41
- 1.50 lmp qt.)

Make sure that oil level is at the proper level (A).

Install the oil filler plug (A).
Tightening torque :
58.9 - 78.5 N·m (6.0 - 8.0 kgf·m, 43.4 - 57.8 lb·ft)
